What are soft skills?
What are soft skills?
Updated over a week ago

Soft skills are a broad range of "non-technical" skills essential for professional success. These include teamwork, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities. At Turing College, we also emphasize attitude and mindset, particularly fostering a "growth mindset." This means encouraging our learners to see challenges and feedback as valuable opportunities for learning and personal development.

Soft skills are crucial because they are the skills you’ll use daily in the workplace. While technical expertise, like coding, is important, employers also look for team members who can manage their own workflow effectively and collaborate well with others. These interpersonal and self-management skills often distinguish a good employee from a great one.
