Need Online Learning Experience

Learn more about why we recommend you to try out other online learning experiences before trying Turing College.

Why was my application rejected? πŸ€”

Candidates who pursue online learning tend to integrate more quickly into the Turing College ecosystem and learning style. While it's not mandatory to have spent a particular number of hours learning online before joining one of our programs, your lack of prior online learning experience and demonstration of your understanding thereof tells us that you may be less likely to perform at the required level throughout the first precarious weeks of the program.

What should I do to improve? πŸ“š

I encourage you to seek out online learning experiences that will challenge your ability to:

  1. Hold yourself accountable for your learning.

  2. Create and stick to a learning schedule.

  3. Work with little or no access to immediate feedback on your work.

  4. Thrive in ambiguous situations.

Learning online may seem like an "easy" option compared to traditional in-person learning. Still, it carries many downsides and obstacles that you should be aware of and accept before embarking on a long-term commitment like Turing College.

When can I reapply? ⏳

To ensure you have sufficient time to try out some online learning experiences and evaluate whether learning online is a good fit for you, we can only accept a new application 3 months after your rejection.
